Description
This course provides an introduction to the teaching profession highlighting the foundations of the education system in the United States and the role of teachers in that system. Students will be introduced to Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching Evaluation Instrument and its use in supporting Arkansas teachers' performance and development. Students will gain practical experience by completing a minimum of 20 hours of classroom observation through video and in-person sessions in a public school settings.
