I earned a PhD in theoretical physics (more specifically: lattice gauge theory). My thesis involved computer science (OOP) & meta techniques (literate programming). I was involved early in the development of the WWW and in virtual learning. I blog irregularly & I have also written some fiction. I'm interested in all things digital, especially in data science, machine learning and cybersecurity applications of these. On leave of absence from Berlin School of Economics and Law.
